My practice is focused on promoting men’s health through the use of the Bio-Psycho-Social approach to wellness. My goal is to help my clients develop and achieve meaningful goals. Along the path of life, each person will encounter roadblocks and challenges - my mission is to help remove them.

The Path Forward.

Each person must decide which direction to walk in life. With infinite potential paths, the way can be confusing. Through exploration and the development of self-awareness, you can provide yourself with the ability to make informed choices about life – you’ll find the path that is meaningful to you.

To walk the path, you must obtain the skills required. Each path presents unique challenges and roadblocks – this is inevitable. Identifying and overcoming these roadblocks is one a wonderful aspect of life if you have the proper tools in your toolbelt.

And of course, no journey can be embarked upon without adequate fuel. Your fuel through life is your physical, mental and social health. These are all necessary components to overall health. Develop these to help propel yourself forward – now and long into the future.

The Obstacles.

Along the way, roadblocks will present themselves. These obstacles must be overcome before you may continue the journey. There is an infinite number of challenges that you might encounter – but with the right tools, you’ll be prepared.

In today’s world, one of the common roadblocks is mental illness. Mental illness – whether depression, anger, anxiety, self-doubt and the like – is rooted in the same source. Fortunately, mental illness, just like a physical illness, can be healed. It may take some time and some effort, but with the proper guidance, you can move past whatever is holding you back.

Without a plan and without appropriate action, it is possible to stay stuck in the same place, the same patterns, the same painful cycles for an entire lifetime. It does not have to be this way. Decide to encounter life’s challenges and move forward.

What is the Bio-Psycho-Social approach?

The biopsychosocial model is an interdisciplinary approach to health, well-being and growth. Through the three main components of health: physical health, mental health and social health, and the interconnections between these three areas, one can move toward holistic health and robust energy.

What is holistic health?

Holistic health is what allows you to pursue your higher goals – such as your career and your relationships – unimpeded by illness and a lack of energy. Holistic health is achieved through bettering the various aspects of your life that exist along the biopsychosocial continuum.  

How do I find the right counsellor?

Finding the right counsellor can be a challenge but it is certainly possible and certainly worth the effort. You may find that my approach to health does not align with your outlook or goals. That is okay and normal. If this turns out to be the case, I will do my utmost to help you find a counsellor who better aligns with your needs.
